Expectations of fresh graduates

when students complete their graduate degree they see themselves at top position in a well repuated organization, but they dont realize how much experience they have. due to this most of the students loose their jobs. i personally think that when you have done your graduation you should apply those positions which match you according to your experience and second best option is to run your own business how do you support that statement.

i am doing bcs from newzeland. i want to say that here the environmnet is too much different. to get good job is not a big deal but i dont know the current situation of pakistan. i must say that we should always expect more but also knowing the capacity to do work efficiently.

well really a nice topic to comment.there is a hell of difference between the theory which we have studied in books and its implementation in real business world.thats why all companies only needs fresh graduates with three or four year experience.companies do not want to waste their time in teaching them practical business tactics.so,there is too much load on shoulders of fresh graduates to not only complete their degree but also a span of practical experience as well.so,administration of universities should provide a specific last year to spend in practical life in order to get real world knowledge.students should be certified for that which help them in their job carrier after graduation.otherwise there is a chance of increse in flustration among graduate students as their expectations are not fulfilled.parents also start thinking this as a waste of money not of investment.they might be go for investing in business rather than education...
